Perfection with Passion

Gerald Wyllie, boots designer and founder of Pegiva Boats, did have a passion for slim, classic boat types, which used to cruise on the Lake Garda and Lake Maggiore back in the sixties. Manual work was then high on list of priorities. That what we call classic design is part of an era which had unfortunately passed a long time ago.

While larger yachts became increasingly trendy, fly bridges
asserted it selves on the market, and hulls and motors have
become more and more perfect, Gerald Wyllie dreamed of the
romantic good old days.

In 2001, he launched the perfect classic boat: the first „Pegiva
Classic“ was manufactured and became the forerunner for further
handmade boats from the Pegiva wharf. Deck and hull are still
made of mahogany for this type of boat – the style is authentic
all along the line.

Tradition, retro design and highest perfect quality through
perfect handcraft bred the „Pegiva Retro Sun“ boats or
the Retro Sun Sports Convertibles, which, coming from
Australia, is making its mark on the european market.

Both versions are custom-made and offer its future
owner numerous comfortable details.
